BIO
"My work is a continuous search — for new artistic forms that allow the stage and the screen to speak honestly, always on the edge of technology and visual language."
Nick Dreyden is a Visual Artist and Multimedia / AI Director based in Israel. His work bridges theater, film, multimedia installations, and commercial projects, blending strong visual storytelling with cutting-edge technology. Before moving to Israel, he had already established himself in Russia and Europe as a multi-awarded multimedia and theater director, with more than 20 years of extensive experience across stage, film, and commercial work. Since making aliyah in 2022, he has collaborated with leading Israeli theaters and institutions, including Solan, Gesher, Habima National Theatre, Orna Porat Theater for Children and Youth, Tmuna Theatre, and Beit Zvi School of Performing Arts Theater.

He is also involved in major national productions such as Tzai’ri Tel Aviv and the iconic Festigal.
Recent stage projects — Imagine Festigal, Lo Kolel Shirut, Julie, Third Cabaret, Seret Kayitz, and There Will Be No Wedding — highlight his signature integration of live performance, immersive scenography, video art, and generative AI.
Vision for Immersive Experiences
At Nick Dreyden · Visual Artist & Multimedia / AI Director, the vision is rooted in both technology and lived history. A child of wars and revolutions, Dreyden works at the intersection of art and art-mainstream, searching for a new poetics of digital sincerity. His practice confronts the age of digital totalitarianism, asking how an individual can evolve, remain authentic, and create beauty in an era dominated by algorithmic systems.

Technologically, his work integrates AI-driven scenography, neural-network generated frescoes, real-time camera systems, volumetric 180° video environments, and kinetic projection mapping. These tools are not decorative; they function as independent actors within the performance, producing dialogue between stage, screen, and audience.
Artistically, Dreyden has developed a unique intonational method — a way of sculpting rhythm, silence, and visual texture so that performance breathes like music. His multimedia is always embedded in dramaturgy: a video score, a living architecture of images, which mutates and collides with live presence.

Every project — from large-scale arena shows (Lo Kolel Shirut,), to political multimedia theatre (Beyond the Light, There Will Be No Wedding), to intimate experimental works (Frau Marlene Show, The Seagull) — becomes a laboratory of sincerity. His goal is not spectacle for its own sake, but the creation of immersive poetic experiences that cut through noise and reveal the fragile human core.
