Festigal is Israel’s largest family entertainment event, a Hanukkah mega-show that combines a musical, pop stars, and TV production. The 2025 edition, “Imagine”, celebrated creativity and invention, produced both as a live arena show (EXPO Tel Aviv) and as a television version with specially filmed audition segments.

Nick Dreyden – Guest Video Artist

• Invited as guest video artist, he created an original 180° volumetric visual score — immersive panoramic backgrounds and interactive clips designed to wrap around performers.

• Developed a kinetic video environment for the children’s TV auditions: during filming, the studio transformed into virtual worlds, placing each child performer inside a unique multimedia landscape.

• Combined interactive mapping with modular music-video style clips, shifting the stage from futuristic laboratories to abstract cosmic panoramas.

Impact

Dreyden’s video score gave the television version of Festigal its distinctive look, elevating the children’s auditions into cinematic music-video experiences. His multimedia design was praised for setting a new standard in Festigal’s visual language, turning the production into a total multimedia experience.
